Florida Woman Arrested After She Allegedly Stabbed A Male Victim With A Pair Of Scissors

A 34-year-old Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed a male victim with a pair of scissors.

A Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a local residence in reference to an aggravated battery incident. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Molnitia Aliscia Winchester, and she stated that she had been arguing with the male victim throughout the day.

Winchester told the deputy that the argument periodically got physical, and she left the area and came back on several occasions. When she returned to the residence shortly before the incident, she stated that she grabbed a pair of scissors and wanted to end her own life.

According to Winchester, the victim allegedly got on top of her and began pinning her arms down while inside a bedroom. She recalled flailing around, and she claimed that the victim bit her on the arm.

Winchester did not recall stabbing the victim with the scissors, though she stated that she could have stabbed him in the middle of the altercation. She informed the deputy that the scissors were concealed behind her, and she did not believe that the victim was aware that she had the scissors.

The MCSO report indicated that Winchester had blood on her left arm and hand. There was a cut on her hand, an injury that she stated was caused by the scissors. The deputy also observed a bite mark on her left forearm and red scratches on her neck.

The deputy located the victim and he confirmed that he had been in an off-and-on argument with Winchester that had become physical. He told the deputy that Winchester made multiple statements throughout the day that she wanted to kill herself, and he had to restrain her and push her away several times.

The victim advised that he eventually went to sleep and woke up when he was being stabbed with the scissors. He told the deputy that he was unaware that Winchester had the scissors before he went to bed.

According to the MCSO report, the victim’s face had several scratches near his eyes and nose, and a deep stab wound was observed near his left armpit.

Winchester was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail where she is currently being held on $2,500 bond. She is facing a felony charge for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
