Florida Woman Arrested After 6-hour Shooting Standoff With Police Inside McDonald’s

Officials have identified a Florida woman arrested after a shooting and 6-hour standoff inside an Orlando fast-food restaurant.

Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to an armed robbery call at the McDonald’s on South Orange Blossom Trail near Holden Avenue at 10:35 p.m. They say the woman, identified as 30-year-old Shandricka Warren, fired a handgun from inside the restaurant and made threatening statements.

All the workers and customers were able to get out, but when deputies got there they say she opened fire on them.

Those deputies shot back and the ordeal turned into a standoff that lasted until almost 5 a.m. when Warren finally came outside and surrendered.

Warren was arrested on a warrant for burglary in a structure and assault with a firearm. Further charges are forthcoming regarding the aggravated assault on the deputies on the scene.

FDLE is investigating the shooting and the three deputies who fired shots are on paid administrative leave.
