Florida Woman Arrested On Arrest Warrant Which Alleged That She Beat Her Father With An Aluminum Baseball Bat

A Florida woman was arrested on an arrest warrant which alleged that she beat her father with an aluminum baseball bat on Nov. 29.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, 29-year-old Brittany Nuzzolo, who is six feet tall, was arguing with her father in the front yard of the family home on Quail Ridge Circle in Leesburg. A neighbor called the Lake County Sheriff’s Office when he saw Nuzzolo take an aluminum bat and hit her father in the face and body.

When the deputies responded to the scene, they found the victim lying on his back in the front yard with a pool of blood under his head. Before he was transported to Advent Health Waterman for treatment, he identified his attacker as his daughter. Two other witnesses confirmed the father’s version of the attack. Deputies were unable to locate Nuzzolo that night and got an arrest warrant which they were able to serve on her when she returned to the family home Wednesday night.

She was transported to the Lake County Jail where she was booked on a second degree felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $10,000.
