Florida Woman Arrested After She Allegedly Fled From Officer Attempting To Pull Her Over While Driving A Stolen Vehicle

A 38-year-old Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly fled from an officer attempting to pull her over while she was driving a stolen vehicle.

On August 19, a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy observed a silver Cadillac near U.S. Highway 441. The tag on the vehicle had already been confirmed through a records check by a MCSO deputy as being stolen, according to the sheriff’s report.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop and the vehicle appeared to be coming to a stop before quickly accelerating and continuing northbound.

A vehicle pursuit was initiated and, eventually, Jessica Zylo bailed out of the vehicle, the report states.

A K-9 and K-9 deputy were able to detain Zylo shortly thereafter. A records check revealed Zylo’s license was suspended with one prior conviction of driving while license suspended, according to the report.

Zylo was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.

A bond was set at $17,000. She is charged with resisting an officer, driving with a suspended license, fleeing from police, and possession of marijuana, among other charges.
