A Florida woman was jailed recently after multiple Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on E. Fort King Street about a possible stabbing.
Deputies started investigating the incident and spoke with 27-year-old Samantha Lynn Carroll. She was acting erratically and made statements about deputies being aliens, a sheriff’s office report states.
Deputies discovered that Carroll had a knife in her hand and had made threats to a juvenile victim. She was then placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail, according to the report.
Carroll was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and her bond was revoked on a previous charge of trespassing. She is being held on $3,000 bond.
